When I first began making jewelry, I didn’t think of it as building a business or starting a brand. It was something deeper—a personal alchemy, a transformation that brought together my love of ancient practices, gemstones, and storytelling into something tangible. Magick Alchemy was born from that place: a fascination with the mystical and the meaningful, and a desire to craft talismans that carry intention.
With the Elements Collection, I felt called to return to where it all began. To the early days when I was experimenting with electroforming copper jewelry, using ancient techniques with a modern twist. I was thinking about what Magick Alchemy meant to me back then—and how much of that meaning still shapes my work today.

What Inspired the Elements Collection
The Elements Collection was inspired by two things that have always fascinated me: alchemy and the building blocks of design. Alchemy—what many call the precursor to modern chemistry—was all about transformation. Early alchemists believed they could change one substance into another, even turn lead into gold. They worked with the classical elements of earth, air, fire, and water, and later introduced concepts like sulfur and mercury to explain the essence of things.
For me, that idea of transformation through the elements became a metaphor for this collection. Every piece in the Elements Collection begins as a single "element"—a charm, a bezel, a gemstone. Alone, each one carries its own magic and beauty. But when combined, these elements transform. They become earrings, bracelets, pendants… little stories brought together by intention and design. You get to be the alchemist, mixing and matching pieces to create something uniquely your own.
A New Creative Process
This collection pushed me to explore a new process—one that was far more playful and expansive than anything I’ve done before. I started by creating models for each individual element, working in both wax carving and CAD design to bring them to life. I wanted a range of shapes and sizes so I could pair gemstones in endless combinations.
Once those building blocks were ready, the real fun began. I spent time simply playing—laying out different combinations, seeing what colors and shapes felt right together. It was like assembling tiny constellations. Sometimes I’d get it right on the first try, and sometimes I’d switch things around for days until I found the perfect balance.
One of the biggest challenges was color matching the gemstones. I love color, and this collection gave me permission to go wild with it. But it also meant I had to be selective—some pieces became one-of-a-kind “one-offs” like mismatched earrings, single studs, and charms. That’s part of the magic. Each piece can stand alone, or be part of something bigger.
New Tools for New Possibilities
To bring even more versatility to the collection, I invested in a laser welder. (I’m still geeking out about it!) This allows me to laser jumprings together, making the pieces easy to customize and adjust over time. It also opens the door to offering semi-custom designs in a way that’s quick, visual, and fun for you as the customer.
While I’ve curated the first release of the Elements Collection myself, my dream is to keep adding to it—seasonally, intentionally—so you can continue building your personal story. Whether you want to pick elements based on birthstones, favorite colors, or even the seasons of your life, the possibilities are endless.
Styling the Elements
When I picture you wearing the Elements Collection, I see intention. Whether you’re layering charms on a beaded necklace or clipping them onto one of the new lock clasps (yes, they open and close easily!), each element you choose becomes part of your personal talisman. Even though every charm and gem is different, they work beautifully together, telling your unique gem story.
I’m especially excited to release beaded necklaces with this collection. They’ll add a pop of color and give you even more ways to play with your look. And the price point will make them super easy to mix, match, and layer.
What I Hope You Feel
At its heart, this collection is about connection—to yourself, to the stories you carry, and to the magic of transformation. I hope when you wear a piece from the Elements Collection, you feel the love and intention that went into each element. Whether it’s the drop earrings, the sunstone sun bracelet (my personal favorite!), or the star and moon charms, each piece carries a bit of that ancient alchemy I fell in love with years ago.
I want you to have fun with these pieces. Style them your way. Layer them with meaning. Make them part of your own modern goddess vibe. That’s what Magick Alchemy has always been about—creating jewelry that empowers and transforms.
Returning to My Roots, Looking to the Future
Creating the Elements Collection felt like coming home. It reminded me of my early days working with copper, beaded necklaces, and charms—how much joy there was in seeing something take shape from simple components. I’m still inspired by those old-world influences: visiting Salem, exploring witchy shops, and diving deep into ancient civilizations. But now, I get to bring those inspirations into a modern space, with tools and techniques that allow me to make something truly unique.
This collection is different from anything I’ve done before. It’s more expansive. It’s less focused on rings (though those aren’t going away!) and more about offering you endless ways to style and wear your jewelry. It’s the start of something new—and I can’t wait to see how you make it your own.
